Philippians 3:8 “… I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung (Why?), that I may win [or gain] Christ,

1st Argument:
Local churches were made up of disciples.
Disciples are water baptized.
Therefore, local churches are made up of baptized disciples.
2nd Argument:
Local churches were in Christ.
To be member of a local church you had to be baptized.
Therefore, to be in Christ you need to be baptized.
3rd Argument:
The new covenant is made with the church.
To be a member of the church is by water baptism.
Therefore, in order to enter into a new covenant relationship you must be baptized.
