The catalogS of sins

1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:5-6

5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Revelation 21:7-8

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 22:14-15

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

THE REWARD OF THE INHERITANCE

Colossians 3:23-24 And whatsoever ye do (works), do it heartily, as to the Lord (faith), and not unto men; 24 Knowing that (motivation) of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

THE INHERITANCE IS THE KINGDOM

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

James 2:5 Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

Galatians 5:21 “…as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The kingdom shall literally be over all the earth

Zechariah 14:1-9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh,... 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle… 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations … 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives … 9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

The inheritance is the earth

Psalm 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:5 Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. “

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS FUTURE

Mark 15:43 “Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God…”

THE KINGDOM OF GOD SHALL COME

Luke 22:18 For I (Jesus) say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

The kingdom comes at His appearing

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearingandhis kingdom;

The kingdom comes when Christ comes back

Luke 23:42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.”

The kingdom reign is a thousand years

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign (in the kingdom) with him a thousand years.

NOT EVERYONE ENTERS INTO THE KINGDOM

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

CAST OUT OF THE THOUSAND YEAR KINGDOM

Luke 13:28 “There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth there when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being cast out.

THE RIGHTEOUS SHINE FORTH IN THE KINGDOM

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

THE RIGHTEOUS PRACTICE ALL THE COMMANDMENTS

Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

THE RIGHTEOUS LIVE BY FAITH

Galatians 3:11 Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, “The righteous man shall live by faith.”

THE RIGHTEOUS ENTER INTO THE CITY

Revelation 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do [or practice] his commandments (the righteous), that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city (the heavenly city, the new Jerusalem). 15 For without (“outside the city,” NLT) are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

SEEK THE CITY TO COME

Hebrews 13:13-14 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. 14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
